  On November 23, the St. Petersburg Athletics Academy athletics arena hosted inter-municipal competitions - the Sprint League among boys and girls under 14 years old.
  Secondary Ping-Pong Tournament
  Dear Families,
  
  Monday, November 25 we will host our traditional internal Ping-Pong Tournament. If you're interested in participating, please see Ms. Marina V during the day. 🏓 The matches will take place during the breaks. 🏓 Teachers are also encouraged to participate.
  CIS Primary Students Take Part in Mathematics Olympiad
  Today, Year 3, 4, 5, and 6 students will take part in the XI St. Petersburg Mathematics Olympiad for Primary Students.
  
  They will participate in school during periods 5-7.

  Meeting with Harvard Academic Scholar and Hong Kong Polytechnic
  Today students meet with Dr. Ruslan Yusupov from Harvard University and talked about applying to Harvard and other Ivy League universities, and also about the advantages and challenges of pursuing an academic carreer abroad.

  The first two weeks of school have been incredibly exciting. I've witnessed a great deal of learning happening in the classrooms, and it's clear that both students and teachers are enthusiastic about the new academic year!
  Welcome back to school!
  We are looking forward to seeing our new and returning families tomorrow Monday, September 2nd at our Day of Knowledge celebration. The ceremony will start at 10:00 sharp, so students and family members are asked to arrive 15 minutes earlier.

- - Uniform-free day for Secondary (Wed, 28/09/22)
    Dear Parents and Caregivers,
    
    In order to promote wearing the school uniform as well as student voice and choice, we will be having a "uniform-free" day every week in Secondary (Year 7- Year 13). During this day, students will be allowed to come to school wearing more casual, but still school-appropriate clothing. The next uniform-free day for Secondary will take place this coming Wednesday, September 28.
